By requesting or using a Sinister Proxy key you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't request or use a key.
Your key
- A key is for you alone. Don't share, sell or publish it. If it leaks, run
/keyin Discord to replace it. - You're responsible for what's done with your key.
Acceptable use
Don't use Sinister Proxy to:
- break the law where you are or where the operator is, including the United States;
- break the rules of a school, workplace or network you're on, or get around a filter you've agreed not to bypass;
- harass, threaten, scam or impersonate anyone;
- access, share or store material that exploits children, or any other illegal content;
- attack, scan, overload or break into any system, or send spam;
- infringe copyright or other rights;
- try to break, overload or get around the proxy's limits, or access other people's data;
- sign in to accounts or send information you need to keep private (the proxy can see it; see the privacy policy).
What the operator can do
- Approve, decline, limit, suspend or turn off any key at any time, for any reason or none, without notice.
- Block networks, set usage limits, and change or end the service.
- Investigate reports of misuse using the records described in the privacy policy, and act on them as described in the abuse policy.
- Share information with authorities when required by law.
No warranty
Sinister Proxy is provided as is, for free, without any warranty. Many websites don't work through it, and it can be slow, interrupted or shut down at any time. It is not a VPN and does not make you anonymous or secure.
To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for any loss or damage from using or not being able to use the service, including lost data, account problems, or consequences of breaking a network's rules.
Changes
These terms can change; the date at the top shows the latest version. Using a key after a change means you accept the new terms.
Questions or reports: @oliverexists on Discord, or the report form on the abuse page. See the abuse policy for how reports are handled.
